Jennifer Capps is the Assistant Vice Provost and Director of Student Learning and Faculty Development for NC State Entrepreneurship. She develops and delivers classroom content, mentors entrepreneurship students and presents at entrepreneurship and innovation events around the world. She mentors faculty interested in implementing entrepreneurial thinking into courses and consults with organizations on developing entrepreneurial mindsets within their employees. She completed her MSM at NC State, specializing in New Product Development and Technology Commercialization. Jennifer has worked with entrepreneurial organizations for over 19 years and has been involved with entrepreneurship education since 2001. During that time, she has taught over 4000 students and mentored many, many more. In 2009, she was named one of Triangle Business Journal’s Top Women in Business for her work in teaching and mentoring entrepreneurial students, and in 2016 she was recognized by the NC State Office of International Affairs for Leadership in International Education.
