Trips

Expand your worldview and discover new applications for a big idea through startup tours in different cities!

Have an Adventure

Every year, we take a select group of students on a spring and fall break trip to meet with visionary entrepreneurs, leading executives and successful NC State alumni.

In the spring, we visit Silicon Valley in California. Over fall break, students travel to New York City.

These trips are high-impact activities that provide a life-changing experience for many students, connecting them with a number of thought leaders and many NC State alumni across the country.

In addition to these two trips, we have several departmental partners that also take entrepreneurship-focused trips. Poole College of Management sponsors a trip to Australia, and the Albright Entrepreneurs Village sponsors trips to different cities in America every year.

About Our Trips

We aim to make these trips affordable for students, averaging a total of $400 for an all-inclusive eye-opening adventure, which includes airfare or travel accommodations, food, and room and board.

Any degree-seeking NC State student in good conduct and academic standing is eligible to apply. Space is limited, so we encourage students to apply early and share why this trip is important to them.

How to Apply

Applications for Fall Break trips are open late July through August, and applications for Spring Break trips are open September through mid November. Please come back to this page during those windows to see live application links.
