Due to the ongoing concern of COVID-19 and its impact on travel, all travel activities at NC State, including the fall break trip, have been cancelled for the 2020 fall semester. We will announce any changes according to University policy as they are available.

Have an Adventure

Expand your worldview and discover new applications for a big idea. Select groups of students are invited to New York or Silicon Valley to meet with visionary entrepreneurs, leading executives and successful NC State alumni.

There are two trips every year: a fall break trip to New York City and a spring break trip to Silicon Valley. Trips are affordable for students, only $400 all-inclusive.

In addition to these two break trips, we have several departmental partners that also take entrepreneurship-focused trips. Poole College of Management sponsors a trip to Australia, and the Albright Entrepreneurs Village sponsors a trip to a different city in America every year.

Students must be degree-seeking NC State students or equivalent and must be 18 years of age in order to be selected to attend a trip.

Explore Entrepreneurship in the Triangle and Beyond

Take a Bite of the Big Apple

Explore the "City that Never Sleeps" during fall break with the New York City trip! Past visits include, Exeq, Compass, Venture for America, Squarespace, First Round, Madison Square Garden and more.

Triangle Hotspots

Students in the Albright Entrepreneurs Village have the opportunity to visit NC State alumni in startups across the Triangle. Past visits have included Bee Downtown, Citrix, American Underground, HQ Raleigh, SaS, Smashing Boxes and more.

About Our Trips

Any degree-seeking NC State student in good conduct and academic standing is eligible to apply. Application questions ask students to discuss a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and discuss future career goals.
