2024 National Academy of Inventors Annual Conference Volunteer Opportunities

NC State’s Office of Research Commercialization is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the 2024 National Academy of Inventors Annual Conference, a national event designed to bring together and recognize the world’s most impactful academic researchers and inventors.

Event Information:
The event will be held from Sunday, June 16th to Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 in downtown
Raleigh at the Raleigh Convention Center & the Raleigh Marriott City Center. A reception on June 16th will be held at NC State’s Hunt Library on Centennial Campus.

Volunteer Details:
-on-site conference registration
-directing event attendees to conference sessions
-showcase set up
-materials preparation.

Volunteers are scheduled in four hour shift blocks and can request a specific time slot or multiple time slots if desired.

All volunteers can attend the meal (breakfast or lunch) that coincides with their shift and they can also attend the conference before or after their shift (with the exception of the Gala on 6/18).

Available shifts can be located in the sheet below. Please note that we are requesting more volunteers for the Monday and Tuesday dates in order to effectively direct attendees from the Marriott hotel to the Convention Center.
