Baby Steps
Real talk. Real tools. Real small steps.
Curious about entrepreneurship? Got a business idea? Come hang with us at our weekly drop-in for undergrads who want to build, create and connect.
This is a low-pressure, high-vibe space to meet other students interested in entrepreneurship, hear real stories from Alexa and Jaclyn (who both run small businesses) and pick up practical tools you can actually use as you explore the world of entrepreneurship. No RSVP, totally free and yes — coffee and pastries are on us!
Each week, we will dive into a different theme to help you build your knowledge step by step, without the overwhelm. Expect a quick, honest talk from us, then an open conversation, Q&A and time to meet like-minded people.
For fall 2026, Baby Steps will meet on Thursdays from 10 – 11 A.M. in the Albright Entrepreneurship Garage classroom starting September 3.
Fall Semester Schedule
September | Getting Started
We will cover topics like declaring your LLC, determining whether to form an LLC or a nonprofit, building your website, launching your socials, getting insurance and making it official.
October | Money Matters
Learn more about pricing your work, getting paid, hiring help, taxes, grants and debt.
November | The Real Stuff
Talk about the truth of failure (and how to bounce back), losing motivation, setting boundaries and navigating business partnerships.
Drop in whenever, stay as long as you want, and leave with something useful — whether that’s a new idea, a new connection or just a really good pastry.
