2021 Wolf Den Finalists Announced
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. This year, GEW occurs the week of Nov. 8-12 and we’re celebrating at NC State by hosting events all week long!
A fan favorite? Wolf Den! This event is a Shark Tank-inspired pitch competition where five student teams pitch in front of a live audience and live judges – the wolves! The teams are competing for $2,100 in cash prizes. They will get 3 minutes to pitch and 4 minutes to answer judge questions. After all the teams have pitched, each ‘wolf’ will award equity-free investment money to their favorite team. The audience will also be casting their vote for their favorite team – a $300 audience choice award.
The pitch competition takes place Friday, Nov. 12 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Duke Energy Hall in Hunt Library. The event is free and open to the public, attendees can grab a ticket at the event website. Food and drinks will be served at the beginning of the event, so make sure to grab a ticket and show up on time.
