Bio
Former New Orleans Saints star receiver, Marques Colston, is the founder of Marques Colston Enterprises (MCE), a professional development service company, which empowers organizations and growth-minded individuals to unlock creativity and the possibility to experience sustainable business success.
He is the founder of Kompete, a sports data and analytics company and serves on the advisory committee for NFL Players Inc., and iSport360, Inc.. He has launched Venture Investing and Entrepreneurship for Professional Athletes, an executive education program for current and former professional athletes at Columbia Business School. He also created the Marques Colston Fellowship in partnership with Hofstra University to provide experiential learning opportunities for student-athletes in health majors.
Marques is an adjunct professor at the University of New Orleans where he teaches entrepreneurship and life skills to undergraduate students. He earned a Bachelors in interdisciplinary studies from Hofstra University and holds a certificate in entrepreneurship and venture investing from Columbia Business School.
Marques is a Super Bowl champion, inductee in the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame and the Sports Hall of Fame in both Pennsylvania and Louisiana. While an active player for the New Orleans Saints, he was the all-time franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, and total touchdowns, helping the team achieve victory in Super Bowl XLIV.
