Juliana Romero-Cortes

Bio
Juliana Romero-Cortes is the Marketing Programs Coordinator for NC State Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She supports the department’s marketing and communications efforts through content creation, digital content management, strategic storytelling and brand promotion. She also helps manage partnerships with campus and external stakeholders, coordinates marketing initiatives across programs and events, and works to increase awareness of Innovation and Entrepreneurship opportunities among students, alumni and the broader community.
She brings a unique perspective as both a former student participant and alumna. She holds a degree in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship and a minor in international studies from NC State University.
Juliana was actively involved in the university’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through programs focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and social impact. Her experiences include participating in NC State Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s Silicon Valley program and collaborating on a social enterprise initiative in Moldova, where she gained valuable insight into venture development, global collaboration and innovation-driven problem-solving.
Outside of work, Juliana is an avid traveler, creator and lifelong learner who enjoys both intellectual and physical pursuits. She is passionate about the creative arts and spends her free time exploring interests such as baking, painting, music, fashion design and discovering new cultures and experiences around the world.
