Sameer Murarka Scholar and NC State Entrepreneurship Scholar

Bio

Cedric Clyburn is a senior studying computer science in the College of Engineering. He’s passionate about using technology to improve accessibility, and has been involved with the entrepreneurship community at NC State since a freshman and was a previous Entrepreneurship Student Ambassador.

From having the opportunity to host Entrepalooza, living in the Albright Entrepreneurs Village, and being a digital media marketing assistant for the Entrepreneurship department, Cedric has been able to explore much of the entrepreneurial community that NC State has to offer. Additionally, he participated in the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) social innovation challenge to work with LiRA, a local AI-based lip reading technology that helps to empower voiceless individuals, and was a finalist in the program.

In his free time, Cedric loves running, hiking, and traveling!

Cedric said: “Receiving an entrepreneurship scholarship means that there’s demonstrated support in our Wolfpack nation for those trying to innovate and help improve our community. It means a great deal to me and I’m extremely grateful!”
