TEXTravaganza – A Textiles Speaker Panel
Are you a textile student interested in pursuing a dream of owning your own company? Or are you interested in learning about applying an entrepreneurial mindset to your textile designs?
Come learn from the experts! Join us on Wednesday, November 4 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. as Wilson College of Textile alumni entrepreneurs share their experience starting a company and working in a textile startup. The alumni panel will be moderated by Marissa Noon, a current Textiles student and NC State Entrepreneurship Ambassador.
Our panel includes:
Jeremy Wall – Founder of Lumenus, a company that provides light-up clothing and smart bike lights with GPS to improve the safety of bikers at night.
Jordan Schindler – Founder of Nufabrx, a proprietary biomaterial platform that embeds active ingredients directly into fabrics to deliver supplements, vitamins, and medications through clothing.
Germanee Gerald – Founder of GG & Co Styling Firm, a company whose brand portfolio offers an array of services to professionals, who desire to amplify their brand message, build confidence, and elevate their personal style.
Live Q&A towards the end of the event. This event is open to the public and is brought to you by NC State Entrepreneurship Ambassadors.
