Our new season of Startup Essentials presented by NC State Entrepreneurship’s eGarage will be kicking off on August 31st 2018 and boy have we got an incredible lineup for you!

Startup Essentials is where we bring in entrepreneurs from around the community to tell you their story, answer your questions and provide us all with their sage wisdom. These events this season will be opened to the greater NC State student population (meaning membership to the eGarage is NOT required) but eGarage members will have tickets reserved for them.

Our special guests for Startup Essentials this week will be:

Shawn Barber, CEO of Broadvine

Shawn is a highly versatile executive who brings more than 20 years of experience driving business transformation in global technology markets. Over his career, he has led the strategic development and delivery of software addressing a broad range of business and consumer needs and has a strong track record of introducing technologies that drive top-line growth and yield business efficiency. Prior to joining Broadvine, Shawn served in various executive and senior product development positions at Bandwidth.com, Lulu.com, Acision, Mobile Streams and Cisco Systems.
