Started at State – An Entrepreneurship Speaker Series
NC State has lead to many incredible new businesses, and we want to share those stories with you! This entrepreneurship speaker series features NC State alum business founders and innovators, who we’ve invited to share their inspirational stories with our community of students, entrepreneurs, and those curious to see what it takes to make a new business. This event is great for anyone looking to learn more about unconventional career paths in entrepreneurship, startup challenges, and our local trailblazers who Started at State.
This month we welcome Maggie Kane, founder or A Place at the Table, a pay-what-you-can restaurant in Downtown Raleigh.
Open to NC State Students and community members. Dinner will be served.
Event doors open at 6 p.m. for attendees to settle in and grab refreshments. The speaker will take to the stage at 6:30pm, with a Q&A after.
The event location has changed to the lecture hall on the 4th floor of Hunt Library. To get there, go up the elevator to the fourth floor and head down the hallway, we’ll be on the left with food just outside the door.
