NC State has lead to many incredible new businesses, and we want to share those stories with you! This entrepreneurship speaker series features NC State alum business founders and innovators, who we’ve invited to share their inspirational stories with our community of students, entrepreneurs, and those curious to see what it takes to make a new business. This event is great for anyone looking to learn more about unconventional career paths in entrepreneurship, startup challenges, and our local trailblazers who Started at State.
On March 26th we welcome Chasta Hamilton, here to talk about, in her words: TURNING NO! INTO GO! ” Grit is a superpower. It allows you to break the mold, navigate challenges, persevere, and achieve the impossible. ”
Discover how Chasta Hamilton (Park Scholar Alumna ’07) has mastered the art of turning challenges into opportunities and failures into wins. As the Owner/Artistic Director of Stage Door Dance Productions and the Founder/President of Girls Geared For Greatness, her mission focuses on discovering and cultivating talent and potential, on and off the stage.
Open to NC State Students and community members. Food will be served.
Event doors open at 6:30 p.m. for attendees to settle in and grab refreshments. The speaker will take to the stage at 7pm, with a Q&A after. This event is located in the Duke Energy Hall, 2nd floor lobby of Hunt Library.
