Started at State – A Launchpad to Entrepreneurship
NC State has lead to many incredible new businesses, and we want to share those stories with you! This entrepreneurship speaker series features NC State alum and faculty business founders and innovators, who we’ve invited to share their inspirational stories with our community of students, entrepreneurs, and those curious to see what it takes to make a new business. This event is great for anyone looking to learn more about unconventional career paths in entrepreneurship, startup challenges, and trailblazers who Started at State.
For February’s Started at State, we have a panel of entrepreneurs. When they were State students, these guests worked on a dream project called Jar with a Twist (imagine a push pop for peanut butter jars). Learn all about the topsy-turvy endeavor of trying to bring Jar with a Twist to market while in the Engineering Entrepreneurs Program, and where each team member’s entrepreneurial career has taken them in the years since graduation.
Event starts at 6 p.m. The panel talk is expected to take about 40 minutes with a live Q&A after. Feel free to come with questions!
