SIF Skill Lab: Understanding Food Systems

Join us for a seminar on an introduction to Food Systems. “A food system includes all processes and infrastructure involved in feeding a population: growing, harvesting, processing, packaging, transporting, marketing, consumption, and disposal of food and food-related items.” Erin White from Community Food Lab will be facilitating the Seminar and teaching the basics on how to better understand Food Systems. This is part of a series of Skill Labs being held by the Institute for Nonprofits for the Social Innovation Fellows, but the event is also open to other students, and we welcome others to join us. The Skill Lab will be held at the Institute for Nonprofits, which is on the 5th floor of Hunt Library. NOTE: You can only get to the Institute through the elevator that is on the First Floor, or through the elevators right next to the turnstiles on the second floor.
