Showcasing Art in Entrepreneurship
April 20 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pmFree
Are you an arts student interested in pursuing a dream of owning your own company? Or are you interested in learning about applying an entrepreneurial mindset to your artwork, music, and dance?
Come learn from the experts! Join us on Tuesday, April 20 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. as local arts entrepreneurs share their experience starting a company and working to grow their personal arts brand. The alumni panel will be moderated by Rachel Harris, founder and President of Chordination NC State A Cappella team and NC State Entrepreneurship Ambassador.
Our panel includes:
Jason Harrod – A performing songwriter known for his generous melodies and poetic, image-rich lyrics. His songs are cinematic travelogues of spiritual and romantic questing, filled with quirky narrative detail.
Abel Maasho – An alternative/pop-rap singer from Raleigh, North Carolina. His career began in 2018 and he continues to expand his music and audience base over SoundCloud.
Serah A – After 9 years as a web & graphics designer, Serah left corporate America to follow her true passion as a visual artist. Now she continues to build her brand through the TinkerNaut Blog and exhibitions.
Live Q&A towards the end of the event. This event is open to the public and is brought to you by the NC State Entrepreneurship Ambassadors.
