SDG’s and Cookies, Please

November 17, 2022 | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

What are the world’s biggest problems?

And if we are trying to solve them, how do we even begin to measure our progress?

In this workshop hosted by NC State Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we’ll be taking a hard look at the Sustainable Development Goals to learn exactly what they mean and how we understand our progress towards them. These are global problems like access to Clean Water and Poverty that impact every human being on the planet, which is a difficult thing to even measure, let alone solve.

So grab a cookie and take a seat as Haley Hall, RTI’s premier Sustainability Coordinator, leads you through the challenging wild west of global problem solving and using small data to understand big problems.

*Free cookies included for the stress of thinking about problems
