Ladies Who Launch

October 20 | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Join us at this annual event to celebrate female founders! As a part of Women in Entrepreneurship Week, we will be hosting a panel discussion around the unique experiences of women in leadership and business founding roles. Founders, co-founders and leaders within organizations alongside those who support local businesses have offered great advice to audiences in past years. Bring your questions for our dynamic group of women in entrepreneurship to this year’s event.

This year’s featured panelists are:
Jackie Morin; empathy seeker, radical lover, cotton candy girl. I believe Black and Brown women will save this world but that doesn’t mean we have to do it alone.
Chasta Hamilton; arts entrepreneur that believes in disrupting the status quo through her business endeavors, writing, and motivational speaking. She’s the Founder/ CEO of Stage Door Dance Productions, the Founder/ President of Girls Geared For Greatness, and the author of her newly released second book, Handle the Horrible: Change. Triage. Joy.
Venus Liles; Attorney and Founder of Liles Law, Senior Legal Counsel for SAS Institute Inc., Founder of qcard, Founder of DanceHer, member of xElle Ventures, and the author of Luna Stays Home, a children’s book written to support family conversations about the coronavirus and social distancing with a mission.
Courtney Tellefsen is the founder and CEO of The Produce Box, delivering local farm-fresh produce and specialty items directly to its members’ homes and offices and non-profits.

Since 2008, The Produce Box has grown to 8,000 members who support 75 farmers and artisan food businesses partnering with more than 150 stay-at-home moms and dads delivering fresh food to their communities as Neighborhood Ambassadors.

This year’s event is jointly hosted at the Bragaw Hall Activity Room by the WISE Village and Albright Entrepreneurs Village.
