Ladies Who Launch

Join us at this annual event to celebrate female founders! As a part of Women in Entrepreneurship Week, we will be hosting a panel discussion around the unique experiences of women in leadership and business founding roles. Founders, funders, and leaders within organizations alongside those who support local businesses have offered great advice to audiences in past years. Bring your questions for our dynamic group of women in entrepreneurship to this year’s event.

This year’s event is jointly hosted by the WISE Village and Albright Entrepreneurs Village.

This event is open to NC State students as well as the public.

Our panelists for this year’s Ladies Who Launch are:

Ellie AmirnasrEllie is an entrepreneur, incubator, and start-up program developer. Ellie is currently the CEO of qlair, the leading platform for proactive clean air management in commercial buildings using Artificial Intelligent (AI) based technology.

Venus LilesVenus is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Liles Law ( Liles Law helps startups, entrepreneurs and businesses with comprehensive legal services and strategic business coaching. 

Bri HartBri is the owner of fly honey oils. fly honey oils is a brand that seeks to center the healing and care of women of color through essential oils. She is also the Assistant Director of the Women in Science and Engineering Program at NC State. (

Jeyashree HaridossJeyashree is an NC State alumna and the founder of Sol, a platform that instantly connects travelers with interpreters- think Uber for interpretation. She also writes a newsletter on actionable tips to make your workplace more inclusive (

Our host for the evening will be Rachel Harris. Rachel is an NC State Entrepreneurship Ambassador and junior in the College of Engineering.
